What this service covers
- Moves into or out of a storage unit you rent directly from the facility.
- Transport of kept items to the agreed destination, with access and inventory reviewed first.
- Optional removal of unwanted items; normal cleanout finishing is sweeping, not deep cleaning.
Storage Unit Moving & Cleanouts: pricing and minimums
Two movers and a truck: $190/hour. Three movers and a truck: $260/hour. Four movers and a truck: $340/hour. All hourly services have a 2-hour minimum, plus a one-time $50 travel fee per mover.
The two-mover minimum including travel is $480. Unit access, sorting readiness, load size, and destination affect moving time. Optional junk removal is separately priced, with a $149 minimum for junk-removal jobs; no automatic bundle discount is promised.
Keep and remove items need different destinations
When a unit holds both furniture you want and items you no longer need, mark the groups clearly. The estimate can cover moving and removal together while showing each service's price separately. CLE does not rent the unit to you or promise warehouse storage. You remain responsible for your facility agreement, access permission, and confirming that the unit meets its move-out requirements.
Before your appointment
- Confirm your facility's access hours, gate procedure, loading rules, and elevator availability.
- Separate keep, move, and remove items before the crew begins loading.
- Share unit size, floor, aisle access, and how far the truck can park from the unit.
- Check your rental end date and any facility move-out requirements yourself.

CLE is based at 6871 Ames Rd, Parma, OH 44129. Discuss applicable insurance coverage, limits, and exclusions before agreeing to the work. Same-day availability may be possible—call to confirm.
Storage Unit Moving & Cleanouts: common questions
Do you provide the storage unit?
No. You rent storage directly from your chosen facility. CLE provides the agreed moving and optional removal work.
Can you move some items and remove the rest?
Yes. Identify the items to keep and remove so both parts can be scoped and priced separately.
Do I need to empty the unit first?
No, but clearly identify the inventory and what should happen to each group. Tell us if sorting is still needed so the scope can be reviewed.
Can you work at an indoor upper-floor unit?
Share elevator details, floor, corridor distance, and loading access. We review these conditions before scheduling.
Will you cancel my storage rental?
No. You handle the rental agreement, cancellation, access permissions, and facility inspection requirements.
Does a cleanout include deep cleaning?
No. Normal finishing is sweeping. Deep cleaning, mold treatment, and pest treatment are not included.
Is junk removal included in the hourly moving rate?
No. It is an optional, separately priced service. We can discuss both in one estimate without treating disposal as free.
What should I provide for a storage estimate?
The facility address, unit size and floor, access rules, inventory, destination, and a clear list of unwanted items.
