Local Residential Moving: pricing and minimums
Two movers and a truck: $190/hour. Three movers and a truck: $260/hour. Four movers and a truck: $340/hour. All hourly services have a 2-hour minimum, plus a one-time $50 travel fee per mover.
The two-mover, two-hour minimum is $480 including $100 travel. This is a minimum, not a quote for a whole house. Volume, stairs, carry distance, packing readiness, and additional stops affect time.
Plan the move around access—not just bedroom count
A short drive does not always mean a short move. Basement furniture, narrow stair turns, detached garages, and a long walk to the truck affect handling time. Tell us which rooms are moving and whether everything is packed. At the estimate, review the crew size, optional work, destination access, and timing together so the plan matches your actual home.
Before your appointment
- Make a room-by-room list and identify large, fragile, or unusually heavy pieces.
- Confirm possession and key handoff times at both homes before choosing the moving window.
- Keep medicines, personal documents, keys, and daily essentials separate from the moving load.
- Tell us about driveway slope, stairs, parking distance, and any condo building requirements.

CLE is based at 6871 Ames Rd, Parma, OH 44129. Discuss applicable insurance coverage, limits, and exclusions before agreeing to the work. Same-day availability may be possible—call to confirm.

Do you move houses and condos?
Yes. We review the furniture, boxes, access, and destination for house and condo moves before confirming the crew and scope.
Is the moving truck included?
The two-, three-, and four-mover hourly packages include a truck. Labor-only loading is a different service for customers who supply transport.
Can I choose a larger crew?
Yes. We can discuss three or four movers. More movers do not guarantee a shorter job; stairways, elevators, and truck access can limit how the crew works.
Does the minimum cover my entire move?
No. The two-hour minimum is the minimum billable labor period. The estimate considers the full inventory, both properties, and expected work.
Can you pack before moving day?
Packing can be discussed separately at $80/hour per worker, with a two-hour minimum and $50 travel per worker. Any supplied materials are priced separately.
What if my closing date changes?
Contact us as soon as the date changes so we can review availability. Do not assume a new moving date is reserved until it is confirmed.
Can unwanted furniture be removed too?
Yes, optional junk removal can be included in the project discussion and priced separately. Label items to move and items to remove clearly.
What should I bring to the estimate?
Both addresses, a room or item list, preferred date, access details, and any packing or assembly needs help us plan the move.
