What this service covers
- Full or partial household packing based on the rooms and items agreed with you.
- Unpacking assistance at the destination, with placement priorities discussed in advance.
- Packing can support a CLE move or be discussed as its own labor service; transport is not included in packing labor.
Packing & Unpacking: pricing and minimums
$80/hour per worker, with a 2-hour minimum and a one-time $50 travel fee per worker. Two workers for two hours total $420, before separately agreed materials or other services.
Item quantity, fragile-item preparation, room readiness, and unpacking scope affect time. Supplied boxes and materials are priced separately; packing labor is not bundled into the hourly moving truck package.
A partial packing plan can focus on your hardest rooms
You do not have to request the same help in every room. List the areas that are ready and those that still need work, then decide what you want packed first. Keep an essentials bag outside the packing area. At your destination, choose where items should go before unpacking starts; packing assistance is not a promise of home organization, installation, or deep cleaning.
Before your appointment
- Choose the rooms to pack and separate items that should stay with you.
- Point out fragile, valuable, or unusual pieces before work begins.
- Tell us what boxes and packing materials you already have so supplies can be planned.
- For unpacking, identify priority rooms and clear a usable workspace.

- Call or book a free estimate. Share the service, addresses, preferred date, and access details.
- Review the inventory, responsibilities, crew needs, and pricing with us.
- Confirm the paid work and its date separately after agreeing to the scope.
CLE is based at 6871 Ames Rd, Parma, OH 44129. Discuss applicable insurance coverage, limits, and exclusions before agreeing to the work. Same-day availability may be possible—call to confirm.
Packing & Unpacking: common questions
Can you pack only part of my home?
Yes. Identify the rooms or items you want help with so we can scope partial packing.
Is unpacking available too?
Yes. Tell us which rooms and items need unpacking, and where you want belongings placed.
Are boxes included in $80/hour?
No. The rate is per worker for labor. Any materials we supply are priced separately.
Can I use my own boxes?
Tell us what you have available so we can review whether additional materials are needed for the items involved.
Does packing include a truck?
No. Transport belongs to a separately agreed moving service. Packing is charged per worker.
What should I keep out of the boxes?
Keep keys, medications, important documents, valuables you intend to carry personally, and immediate essentials separate.
Can you pack fragile or unusual items?
Describe them in advance so the required handling and materials can be reviewed. Acceptance and preparation depend on the item.
Can I book packing before moving day?
Share your move date and preferred packing date. We review timing and availability before confirming the work.
