Office & Commercial Moving: pricing and minimums
Two movers and a truck: $190/hour. Three movers and a truck: $260/hour. Four movers and a truck: $340/hour. All hourly services have a 2-hour minimum, plus a one-time $50 travel fee per mover.
Crew size, workstation count, disassembly, loading dock access, elevator time, and additional locations influence labor. Packing and assembly are separately scoped at $80/hour per worker, with the hourly minimum and travel fee.
Separate the physical move from business systems work
Moving desks and boxed equipment is different from reconnecting networks, handling confidential records, or recommissioning specialist machinery. Explain those requirements during the estimate rather than assuming they are included. A destination floor plan and labeled inventory help keep the physical move organized; scheduling is reviewed with you, not presented as a guarantee of zero downtime.
Before your appointment
- Assign a decision-maker for both locations and provide a desk or room placement plan.
- Label boxes and furniture by destination department, floor, or room.
- Arrange equipment shutdown and reconnection with your own IT or equipment provider.
- Share loading dock access, freight elevator windows, parking, and building documentation requirements.

We review desks, chairs, shelving, packed equipment, and other listed contents. Oversized or specialist items need individual review before acceptance.
Can the move be planned around business hours?
Share your preferred window and building restrictions. We review availability and the amount of work before confirming the schedule.
Do you disconnect and reconnect our network?
Do not assume IT work is included. Arrange systems shutdown, backup, and reconnection with your own IT provider.
Can you disassemble office furniture?
Share the furniture type, model, and instructions so we can review the assembly work and price it separately.
Can you take unwanted desks away?
Optional junk removal can be quoted alongside the move, with keep and remove items identified separately.
Do you guarantee no business downtime?
No. We discuss your timeline and coordinate the agreed physical move, but building access, equipment setup, and other dependencies can affect reopening.
How should we handle sensitive records?
Retain control of sensitive documents and discuss any special requirements before booking. Routine office moving does not promise certified records destruction or specialized data handling.
What information makes the estimate useful?
Provide both addresses, workstation and furniture counts, access details, preferred dates, and any packing, assembly, or removal requests.
