Furniture Assembly & Disassembly: pricing and minimums
$80/hour per worker, with a 2-hour minimum and a one-time $50 travel fee per worker. Two workers for two hours total $420, before separately agreed materials or other services.
Piece count, model complexity, condition, missing parts, and the amount of disassembly or reassembly affect time. We confirm the accepted work rather than quote every item as a fixed-price assembly.
Check condition and instructions before taking furniture apart
Not every piece is designed to be repeatedly disassembled. Missing hardware, damaged panels, and unfamiliar mechanisms can change what is possible. Reviewing the furniture before the appointment helps separate ordinary assembly from repairs or specialist installation. Do not assume wall mounting, electrical connections, or replacement parts are included in assembly labor.

- Share the manufacturer, model, instructions, and photos of each piece if available.
- Keep hardware, brackets, and instructions together and identify any missing parts.
- Clear working space around the furniture and explain where it will go afterward.
- Disclose damaged joints, previous repairs, or furniture that has already been taken apart.
